Not only the founder of DreamBox Studio, he also composes, produces, arrange, record, mix and master as well. Asides from making music as his profession, Terrence started off this entire journey on electone ( electric organ) at 10, followed on to choir and and orchestra in his school days. Terrence was then an er-hu player and strings ensemble leader in the school. When he turned older, Terrence travelled through more than 26 countries in his earlier work and was able to “see” and experience different cultures.

These experiences had aided him to adapt and direct his producing thoughts uniquely because by understanding different cultures, he is the bridge to produce art pieces catering to each of them. Walking through the differences, he had definitely gained loads of colors that he had inject in the music he writes and produces, also being able to pull on the hearts’ string in the audience. He is also into producing and directing photography and videos.

Thys equipped many years of experience in engineering and producing, was also a student of a five-time Grammy Award-winning audio engineer/music producer, Bruce Swedien. He is blessed to have the opportunity to understudy legendary producer Bruce Swedien who had 13 Grammy nominations with 5 awards under his title. Bruce is also one of the two producers for the world best selling album, Thriller by Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is not the only conspicuous artist in the hall of fame built by Bruce Swedien, The rest includes great artistes such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Lionel Hampton, Quincy Jones, Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock and Jeff Oster. His pop works too includes artistes like Natalie Cole, Mick Jagger, Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer and Sarah Vaughan.In aid to his producing talents, Terrence had also further his vocal producing knowledge with world renowed vocal instructors who taught Ray Charles, Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Cher, Kevin Kline, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Jeremy Irons, Kirsten Dunst, Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift, Paramore, Stefanie Sun and more Not only specially trained in vocals, Terrence had also produced artistes like Li Nanxing, Qi Yu Wu, Dasmond Koh, Huang Hui, Paige Chua, Wang Zheng, Quan Yifeng, Dennis Chew, Dawn Yeoh, Justin Chan and also independant label artistes Xiaolong, Shawn Tok ,Christina Tong, Monkey King. This port folio had made Terrence one of the most promising talent around. Nevertheless Terrence always challenge himself to produce work that surpass excellence.
