Tasked with showcasing the immense effort and technical capability behind the development, Dreambox Studio meticulously curated raw footage to distill a narrative that resonated with the client’s vision. The impact was immediate; the first draft hit the mark, and a polished final version was delivered within just 12 days. This success solidified Dreambox Studio as a trusted partner, leading to a long-term collaboration. Today, as a global giant with diverse campaigns worldwide, CSCEC entrusts the majority of its video production and branding films to Dreambox Studio.

The Vision: Bukit Canberra and the Concept of “Commensalism”

For their recent project at Bukit Canberra, CSCEC’s headquarters sought to highlight their leadership in environmentally friendly and sustainable development. Dreambox Studio answered this brief with a powerful creative concept: Commensalism.

This theme explores the harmonious “co-living” of nature and humanity within the same environment. By framing the development through this lens, the film transforms a construction project into a story of a sustainable habitat where infrastructure and the ecosystem thrive together. This brand story version for CSCEC Singapore was highly successful, eventually winning a prestigious Marketing Award in China.

Led by Director Terrence Huang, the production team captured the scale and soul of Bukit Canberra. A significant highlight includes the stunning aerial cinematography. Despite the project’s proximity to the Sembawang Air Base—a high-security zone that poses major permit challenges—Dreambox Studio’s impeccable track record and strong relationship with the CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) ensured all drone operations were conducted safely and legally.

Beyond the visuals from the sky, the team literally “climbed through” the development to capture intimate, mesmerizing footage of local flora and fauna. This required more than just technical skill; it required a deep understanding of the project’s engineering. By dissecting the importance of each piece of infrastructure, the film encourages viewers to admire not just the finished building, but the intelligence of its design.
