Having previously worked together on multiple initiatives, CSCEC specifically engaged Dreambox Studio during the development of TwinVew, their flagship solo private condominium in Singapore, because of our demonstrated ability to translate complex engineering achievements into compelling, stakeholder-ready narratives.

With a critical project handover to investors and regulatory bodies approaching, we executed an intensive 12-day production sprint, distilling extensive raw footage and technical documentation into a polished, board-ready brand film. That accelerated delivery—achieved without compromising creative or technical standards—solidified a long-term partnership. Today, as a global construction leader, CSCEC entrusts Dreambox Studio with the majority of its corporate video production, branding films, and ESG storytelling across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Vision: Bukit Canberra and the Concept of “Commensalism”

For its landmark Bukit Canberra development, CSCEC Singapore needed a narrative that positioned the project as a benchmark in sustainable urban infrastructure. Dreambox Studio responded with a central creative thesis: Commensalism.

Rather than treating construction and ecology as competing forces, the film frames them as symbiotic systems. This approach transforms a technical build into a story of a shared habitat—where engineered infrastructure and native ecosystems thrive together. The resulting brand film resonated strongly with stakeholders and ultimately earned a prestigious Marketing Award in China.

Topographical Mastery: Engineering on “Canberra Hill”

True to its name, Bukit Canberra rises across steep, undulating terrain. To maximize land utility without compromising the natural gradient, CSCEC engineered a vertically integrated community spanning six to eight storeys.

Dreambox’s cinematography was tasked with making this complex stacking legible to viewers. A standout sequence documents the elevated swimming complex on the third and fourth levels—constructed directly above the internal road network. Capturing this layered infrastructure required precise camera choreography, drone mapping, and structural close-ups that translate engineering ambition into visual clarity.

Engineering a Multi-Generational Ecosystem

Spanning 118,000 square meters, Bukit Canberra is an integrated sports and community hub designed to restore the historical greenery of the former Admiralty House grounds. With 40% of the site dedicated to parkland, the development functions as a self-sustaining ecosystem where public health, urban living, and biodiversity intersect. Dreambox’s production scope captured each critical layer:

• Healthcare & Social Infrastructure: Seamless integration of a Community Polyclinic, Senior Care Centre, and revitalized Hawker Centre.
• Sports & Wellness: A 20-court Indoor Sports Hall, performance gymnasium, and the signature elevated swimming complex.
• Biological Sustainability: A natural filtration system using layered stone, gravel, and native vegetation to manage stormwater runoff, reduce turbidity, and sustain local wildlife corridors.
